Amanda Davis

Amanda Davis is a third grade public school teacher in Ohio who specializes in Reading and Health Education. Amanda is also the author and illustrator of Draven Doogle and the Corona Witch, a book written during the Covid 19 quarantine intended to lightheartedly sensationalize the life of a fellow teacher, “Mrs. McBecky,” who was undergoing brain surgery. The book started as a story to cheer up a friend who, because of Covid 19 restrictions, would be all alone in the hospital during a scary time. Amanda hopes that Draven Doogle helps children to feel a little less lonely and afraid, just like he did for the real Mrs. McBecky. Expect more from Draven Doogle soon.
