Daniel Refai

Dr. Daniel Refai graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Society. He completed a neurosurgery residency at Washington University in Saint Louis. Throughout residency, he obtained numerous patient-care and medical-teaching distinctions.

After completing residency, he augmented his training with a spine surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. His contributions to the medical field include numerous peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals as well as book chapters in neurosurgical and orthopedic textbooks. More recently, he is the coauthor of a neurosurgical board review book published by Thieme Medical Publishers.

Dr. Refai lives in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife and daughter. He currently practices neurosurgery and spine surgery. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and running.
