I was born in a small town in Alberta Canada called Eckville. We had a farm and I remember hard work. But you know that hard work ethic that made me work hard and if I took on a project I hit it as hard as I could. My dad loved country music and I remember him and I listening to the top 10 country songs every Saturday night with me visualizing being on that big stage singing with my country band to an adoring audience mostly of girls of course. Dad taught me the 6 string when I was 9 and I have entertained friends and family for many years. A career in country music has always been an option one I never took. My writing has been a life long pleasure. In school a lot of my stories and essays were read to the class and my mother tells her friends the teachers told her that her son was inspired in composition. I have always loved selling and my world has been just that. I have been involved in holiday ownership for many years and have worked in beautiful Banff in the magnificent Canadian Rockies. Head hunted to go to Ireland to help design a small resort in southern Ireland and market it. Wasn't too hard County Kerry on the Atlantic Ocean is spectacular. After its completion was asked by a friend who owned 2 magazines in Ireland if I would write for him and ended up writing hundreds of articles. One was a fishing magazine and the other was property. As a result I met people in every County of that beautiful country and fell in love with the Irish. I have been asked for years to write a book so one day the idea for The Room hit me like a bolt of lightening, so started one night with a scribbler and a bic pen. The Room took 6 years to write. I started in Waterville County Kerry, southern Ireland, we moved to County Cork to a town called Cobh (Cove), incidentally the last port of call for the Titanic. Our view was where the huge ship was anchored before it left for its rendezvous with that very nasty piece of ice. From Cobh we moved to southern Spain where while working in a beautiful resort on the Costa Del Sol The Room was finished.

I am working on my second novel and judging by my excitement in writing it, the story will be as fantastic and exciting as The Room.
