Perk Daddy

Perkdaddy is an up and coming writer who hails from Charm City by way of the Big Apple. Born and raised in Harlem, NY Perk took to writing at an early age. In school, while others sweated over term papers and other writing assignments Perk could be found putting pen to paper way into the wee hours of the morning.

After graduating from high school Perkdaddy joined the United States Navy. The world became his teacher as traveled to several foreign countries and served two tours in the Persian Gulf. Singapore, Hong Kong, Mexico, Bahrain, Dubai, and The Philippians are just a few of the places he saw while serving his country.

In 1993 Perkdaddy left the military to attend Virginia Union University and later Coppin State University in Baltimore, MD where he still resides. After earning a Bachelor’s degree Perk work in many fields, but writing continued to be his passion.

Perkdaddy describes himself as a laid back, down to earth person who is strong enough to lead yet humble enough to ask for directions. A hopeless romantic at heart, Perk’s passion and sensuality can be felt in every word he writes. City of Roses, his contribution to the Rendezvous anthology is part of a larger collection he has written called Satisfied: Bedtime Stories for the Grown and Sexy.
