L. M. Townsend-Crow

L. M. Crow, born and raised in Michigan, has lived all over the country while serving in the United States Navy. After being Honorably Discharged, she now lives in California with her partner Crow, their children Catherine, Eric, and David, and various and sundry furry folk.

Lisa is a Dianic Wiccan in the lineage of Z. Budapest, and a member of the Goddess Temple of Orange County. She also trained very briefly in shamanism. Her writing has appeared in Of a Like Mind, the journal of the Reformed Congregation of the Goddess and Marion Zimmer Bradley's Sword and Sorceress. She graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a BA in English with a focus on Creative Writing and she has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science.

Currently, Lisa is working on at least two more novels, and researching Goddess and feminist spirituality in folktales, fairy tales, legends, and mythology which will (hopefully!) culminate in an updated collection of tales that will be more in keeping with positive role models for our children, especially our daughters. She collects American Girl dolls and likes to dress them as the characters in her books.
