Karl David Klein

When he was 12 years old he discovered his Great Grandfather's Civil War discharge framed and hanging on the wall of his Aunt's home. It ignited a love affair with Civil War history that has lasted to this day.

Mr. Klein spent over forty years studying and researching the Civil War before writing his first novel. He has travelled extensively in the South and is familiar with the locations in his novels.

Mr. Klein has been in the entertainment industry most of his life. In the late 1970s he became acquainted with author Lewis Meyer who insisted he write his first novel.
