Omar Malik

Omar Malik is a retired pilot; he trained in the Royal Air Force, before moving on to BOAC & British Airways. He was an active member of BALPA (the British Airline Pilots' Association); and helped initiate many of the key security measures now standard in airlines across the world today. He is also a member of the Mull of Kintyre Group, which sought to exonerate the pilots of Chinook ZD 576, the RAF helicopter that crashed in 1994.

He lives in Wiltshire, and keeps himself busy reviewing books. He enjoys watching rugby once he has unscrewed the doorbell, and disconnected his new electric telephone.
