Ray is an accused tree-hugger, an intrepid motorcycle traveler, a book junkie, and an armchair revolutionary.
He hails from Lahore, but lost touch with her ages ago. Since then he’s been a happy nomad, and has now settled among the protected biodiversity of ‘Prés Rosières’ with his soul mate and his best 4 legged friend. When not writing (or rewriting), he likes to tend to his garden, wander inside books, unravel the forest on foot, and dream of seeing the world from his motorcycle goggles again.
CHURN (published 2025) is Ray’s bold debut work of upmarket fiction that visits a pivotal point in history through the eyes of four boys. A coming of age story, from end of the cold war to the beginnings of a new jihad, and an insight into a world less known.
The Grasshopper published in 2006 represents selected early works of poetry and prose from his past journals.
