Larry Pace

Larry Pace is a professor of statistics, management, and psychology. He teaches statistics courses from the freshman to the doctoral level. He has won the Servant Leadership Award from Anderson (SC) University, the Outstanding Faculty Award for Teaching and Service from LSU-Shreveport, and the Psi Chi Professor of the Quarter award from Louisiana Tech University. Dr. Pace's Ph.D. is in psychological measurement (applied statistics) from the University of Georgia with a content major in industrial/organizational psychology. He teaches a variety of courses in mathematics, behavioral statistics, business statistics, management, and psychology. His gift is explaining complicated statistical procedures in simple terms, and translating his explanations into easy-to-follow steps to help students succeed in mastering concepts and computations. In addition to a 30+ year career as an academic, Dr. Pace has worked as a personnel consultant and organization effectiveness manager for a Fortune 100 company and as an organization development consultant for a private consulting firm. He has written more than 80 chapters, articles, and reviews, and has published 15 books. His research focuses on statistics education, technology in the classroom, data entry methods, and collaborative learning. He has consulted with a variety of public and private sector organizations.
