Roger Ladd Memmott

ROGER LADD MEMMOTT was born in Salt Lake City to fourth generation Mormons and grew up in the high desert country of southern Utah. He is author of the novels “The Gypsy Lover” and “Sweet Sally Ann.” His stories and poems have appeared in dozens of literary magazines, including “Sou’wester,” “Confrontation,” and “Cumberland Poetry Review.” He recently published a non-fiction book entitled “The Divine Paradox” and he is a recipient of the Writer’s Digest National Book Award for his book of poetry, “Riding the Absolute.” For over a decade he taught Creative Writing at the University of Cincinnati, where he edited “Eureka Review – A Journal of Fiction, Poetry & Art.” He lives on the West Coast with his wife, family, and dogs.
