Kathi holds an undergraduate degree in kinesiology, and master's degrees in exercise and sport psychology and clinical psychology. She has worked in the exercise and health profession for over 30 years as a fitness instructor, kinesiologist, speaker, and post-secondary educator. She is currently working in private practice as a clinical therapist specializing in integrating exercise for a wide variety of mental health challenges. Kathi currently splits her time between clinical counselling, writing, and speaking to groups on topics related to exercise for mental health.
