Bob Kat is the husband-and-wife writing team of Bob and Kathy, united by a love of storytelling and a shared fascination with time travel. If they could choose any superpower, it would be the ability to journey through history—meeting extraordinary people, witnessing pivotal moments, and exploring the past firsthand. That passion inspired the Time Shifters series.

Kathy's storytelling journey began at age four when she wrote, illustrated, and proudly "published" her first book, The Little Black Horse That Ran Away. Years later, her first traditionally published novel appeared with Dell, launching a career that has included 43 novels with Dell, Crown, Harlequin, and Penguin Random House, along with self-published books and more than a dozen screenplays. Her work has earned honors including Best Indie Book of the Year, the Reader's Favorite Award, and Colorado Humanities Awards.

When they're not writing, Bob and Kathy are happiest riding horses, walking a white-sand beach, or dreaming about where the next adventure through time might lead.
