James Koeper

James Koeper worked as a corporate attorney in Manhattan before turning his hand to writing. He has a keen interest in history and current events, and enjoys golf, kayaking, hiking, tennis, and travel. He loves difficult puzzles, pondering what if, stratagems of all sorts, and good conversation with friends or strangers. He splits his time between Austin, Texas and the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

Exposed and Deceived were originally published by imprints of Penguin Books USA. James struck upon the idea for Murder at Augusta while walking Augusta National during a Masters practice round; he is working on a sequel.
