Gail Mathabane

GAIL MATHABANE is the author of Skwiza, a multicultural memoir, and the co-author of Love in Black and White: The Triumph of Love Over Prejudice and Tabbo. She graduated from Brown University and holds a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University and a second master's degree from Duke University. A writer and communications director, she lives with her husband, South African-born writer Mark Mathabane, in Portland, Oregon. They have three children.
