Mike Hembree

Mike Hembree is a veteran newspaper/website journalist who currently covers auto racing for SPEED.com, the Speed Channel's website. He has written numerous books, several NASCAR-related, and travels the NASCAR circuit for much of the year. He has been named the National Motorsports Press Association Writer of the Year six times and has received the Henry McLemore Award for career achievement in motorsports journalism. He also is a three-time winner of the Russ Catlin Motorsports Award of Excellence.
