As an internationally renowned clinical / scientific researcher, UG and PG teacher and lecturer with over 25 years experience, Avijit is extensively published in the disciplines of Cariology, Minimum Intervention / Minimally Invasive Operative Dentistry and Dental Biomaterials whilst continuing wet-fingered clinical practice as a UK clinical specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Periodontics. Avijit is a KOL for several dental industry partners and has authored chapters in several dental textbooks. He is primary author / editor for the latest 10th edition of Pickard's Guide to Minimally Invasive Operative Dentistry (Oxford Univ Press), and Vol 3: Minimally Invasive Esthetics (Elsevier). As well as sitting on the editorial boards of the popular dental journals, Dental Update, Primary Dental Journal and the British Dental Journal, Avijit serves on the British Dental Association's Health & Science Committee.
