Roy Eales

Roy Eales, British journalist and writer, was born in London and lives in Brittany. He began writing poetry at the university where he studied literature and journalism. From1966, he worked as a journalist, including almost ten years on the writing staff of The Economist of London. Author of books of poetry and prose translated into many languages, the latest is Hazy mist on the sea , (Blackbird-Pawel Editions, 2022) in five languages (English, Breton, French, Nederlands and German), with ink drawings by Susan Eales. His poems are also the subject of a CD "Just in Case by Roy Eales and his friends",  in five languages with original music created by artists in Britain and Brittany. In 2004, the French state awarded him Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres for his literary work.
