Oasis is from Cleveland, Ohio. He wrote his first book, Push Comes to Shove, in 1999, which won the Mahogany award after it went on to be published some years later. His love for writing developed in grade school and he has been writing ever since. His love for the craft inspired him to put together writing workshops, where he has taught novel writing for the last 10 years. He is the owner of Docuversion, a full-service editing firm. He and his wife are the force behind Vision House Publishing. Currently he is working on his next contribution to fiction in between breeding champion Argintine Dogos and Presa de Canarios.
