Chris Tingler

Hello out there. My name is Chris Tingler, a writer, born in the state of West Virginia. I'm an avid fan of fanstasy and science fiction. I also love history and I consider myself a Civil War and World War history buff. In 1994 I graduated from Elkins High School and went on to earn a bachelor's of arts degree in english from Davis and Elkins College in 2002.

In 1993 I became interested in writing for a career. Its something that I greatly enjoy doing because you get to create whole new worlds in which for people to enjoy. After a few years of work, I completed my first novel, The Last Gold Dragon: The First Book in the Dragoon Saga. Its an ongoing series that follows the adventures of half-elf Motavu. Currently working on the next installment of the series. After some inspiration from my hedgehogs, I began working on a childrens' series called, The Adventures of Hedgie and Snoop. It follows the adventures of Hedgie Hog and Snoop Doop Hog in the fictious town of Sparklesville, but set in the state of West Virginia.

Currently, I still reside in the state of West Virginia, now in the small, but historic town of Beverly. I'm married to my wife, Laura. We've been married for 5 years and have a family of pets, 3 bunnies, 2 ferrets, a cockatiel, a hedgehog, and our newest edition a beagle mix puppy.
