Dadian Gallery, Henry Luce III Centre for Art & Religion, Washington

Petry's recent book The WORD is ART for Thames & Hudson looks at text

in the visual arts in a variety of media (including installations,

paintings, new media) and features artists from across the globe in

over 50 languages.
