Lisa B. Fiore

Lisa Fiore is a Professor and Chair of Education at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She also directs the Child Homelessness Initiative and co-chairs the Violence Against Women Initiative at Lesley. Current research and professional development interests focus on early childhood assessment, social and emotional learning and development, resilience, and child and family homelessness. Her pedagogy is greatly inspired by citizens and practices in Reggio Emilia, Italy -- documenting “ordinary” classroom moments to analyze and celebrate the competence of young children.
