Gemma Whelan

Gemma is an Irish-born director, author, and educator. She was the founding Artistic Director of Wilde Irish Productions in the San Francisco Bay Area, and of Corrib Theatre in Portland, Oregon. She won the Silver Knight Award at the Golden Knight Film Festival, Malta, the Robert and Ellen Little Screenwriting Award, and the American Gem Short Screenplay award. She is published in the Wordstock Ten Anthology and New Hibernia Literary Review. Her published novels are Fiona: Stolen Child and Painting Through the Dark.
