David Nather

David Nather spent nearly a decade reporting on the politics of Congress and the White House as a senior writer for Congressional Quarterly. He also covered health care policy in Congress for the Bureau of National Affairs, Inc., including the balanced-budget fights in the mid-nineties, the creation of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program, and the debates over patients’ rights. He lives with his wife, Elissa, and children Jessa and Gabe in Silver Spring, Maryland.
