Edwin D. Fuller

Edwin D. “Ed” Fuller is a globally recognized hospitality industry leader, educator, author, and former senior executive of Marriott International. During his 42-year career with Marriott, including 22 years as President & Managing Director of International Lodging, he helped expand the company to 555 hotels across 73 countries and oversaw global operations, growth, and strategic planning.

A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Fuller served as a Captain in Germany and Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal. He is the author of seven books, including the international best-seller You Can’t Lead With Your Feet on the Desk, and co-author of The Red Hotel thriller series.

He currently serves on the boards of the FBINAA Charitable Foundation, MIND Research, and Boston University’s School of Hospitality, and is Commissioner Emeritus for Visit California. Mr. Fuller lives in Southern California with his wife, Michela, and enjoys writing, family time, and reading history and current events.
