Laura Hesse

"My life has been a marvelous adventure and a bit on the wild side... pun intended. I worked as a forest firefighter in northern Alberta for several years and a timber cruiser in northern Ontario. I was privileged enough to experience ball lightning rolling through the tree tops, misty mornings on remote lakes, a friendly skunk who would show up every morning for eggs and bacon, and so much more. When an outhouse became a luxury item, I decided it was time to move on." Laura Hesse.

Laura grew up a back stage brat in Music Hall Theater. She learned early in life that while she was a pretty good singer, she was a lousy tap dancer. She credits her mother with her love of song, dance, & stage. She turned her obsession for the arts into a writing career with character driven funny cozy mysteries and horse stories with lovable villains and heroines thrust into difficult circumstances, but real life is like that, isn't it?
