Before migrating to Australia in 1980, I worked as a free lance writer under the pen name of Pathfinder and contributed to various other publications. On arriving in Australia set up my own printing business with a view to marketing short stories. This led me to another business and for the next twenty years ran a very successful large office equipment company, Copytone Business Equipment in Melbourne.
After selling the business I decided to write a novel using the experience gained from working part time for a brief period at a builders merchants in East London. There are two novels; The Modest Samaritan which is my ideas on how the company started. The second novel; Nut Screws Washer covers the period when I started there in after two years in the army. So I'm a bit of an old bloke. Although there is some truth in the goings on; stealing etc., it's mainly fiction. There's also a book; Be Somebody - Start your own Business. I firmly believe you won't get anywhere working for someone else. Look at Jeff Bezos.
Have two sons in their 40's, a wife and a dog and alternate between the Gold Coast Queensland and Melbourne.
