Beth Green

Born in New York City in 1945, Beth Green was studying to become a classical pianist when she became chronically ill at the age of 15. But that didn't stop her from becoming a dedicated social activist for the next 25 years, participating in a variety of movements, from anti-nuclear proliferation, to anti-Vietnam War, to the Wages for Housework Campaign, for which she was the West Coast Coordinator for four years.

Then in 1980, Beth had a spiritual awakening that revealed to her a different paradigm for healing our world. She gave up the outer revolution for the inner revolution, and she's been carrying the message ever since.

Beth has never stopped working for the betterment of our world. Despite debilitating illness, she has been an original spiritual teacher, intuitive counselor and consultant, helping people transform themselves and their communities. To that end, Beth founded TheInnerRevolution.Org, a non-profit community dedicated to revolutionizing ourselves and our world. She has published 6 books – two fiction and four nonfiction, including the Sacred Union: The Healing of God, which the Midwest Book Review called a "transcendental work with a message that reaches past all boundaries within the mind and soul." Her latest book, the Handbook for the Inner Revolution, is a brief but penetrating description of a vision for the future that cuts across all lines – race, religion, gender identification, nationality, disability, age or political perspective. It calls for a shift of consciousness from the “I” to the “we,” a shift from an egoic view of the world to a view that is based on Oneness, Accountability and Mutual Support. And while it’s visionary, it is also doable.

A prolific creator, Beth has also composed, performed and produced 4 albums of original music that is both mystical and emotionally rich. For more information on Beth, her organization, and all that she has to offer, please visit: http://www.theinnerrevolution.org.
