I was born in London to blind parents James Hopper Nesbitt
and Brenda May. I have worked, amongst other things, as a Benefits
Advisor/Representative, half a day in a Weetabix factory, stitched heads on
teddies, and also as a volunteer for the Boys/Girls brigade.
My first book, Memories of Finedon was born out of a sad desperation, unable to trace my lost family. I’m married to Paul. We have three children and a grandchild called Erin. Our latest edition to the family is a re-homed dog called Henry….a beautiful nightmare!
Apart from writing, attending writing courses, I thrive at
the Seaside in Norfolk where I have a caravan. I feel blessed to live here in
Northamptonshire and visit nearby Stanwick Lakes frequently.
I like to see the funny side of life, have a sense of
humour, slept in a bed that a tramp wanted!
