Marcy is a SharePoint User Experience Architect and Strategist. A strong follower of User Experience and User Centered Design methodologies, Marcy is invested in making a positive difference in the day-to-day life of the SharePoint end user. She has over five years experience designing and implementing SharePoint web content management (WCM) solutions.

Marcy says “Users need an advocate, especially in SharePoint. I strive to find the balance of usability, visual design, and content management best-practices and still remain practical in my approach to architecting SharePoint solutions. I want to promote user experience design and methodology to our clients and the SharePoint community by bringing anecdotal and quantitative awareness of the positive ROI of user-centered design."

She is the co-founder of SharePoint Soapbox, a small niche consulting firm specializing in architecting user experience on the SharePoint platform. She is active in the SharePoint online community and frequent presenter on topics related to SharePoint and web design.
