M. H. Nicholas

Mark Nicholas has been an entrepreneur, attorney, educator and speaker for nearly two decades. His career requires an intimate knowledge of human behavior, in particular as it relates to negotiating deals, and handling a wide range of employment and other inter-personnel matters. He teaches classes in business and negotiation and speaks at national conferences in the finance and entertainment industries.

His first book, The Essentials of Living Aboard a Boat, has made a substantial difference in the lives of thousands of liveaboards over the course of more than 15 years. Now on the 5th Edition, Living Aboard continues to be updated and relevant. The book was based on Mark's life aboard, and the lessons and challenges of boat ownership, life in a marina and much more.

Mark's second book, It's (Not) Just Business, is used to educate and inspire employees as to the way in which people behave in the workplace, and offers guidance as to techniques for success and overcoming business politics. It is a funny, irreverent book on this very serious subject.

Nicholas has helped scores of clients launch and succeed in their businesses and has consulted in nearly every aspect of the business relationship. He runs a film soundstage in Los Angeles, and enjoys his time with his wife and daughter. For fun he spends time with his family, travels, sails, and takes photographs. Nicholas is an accomplished nature photographer and leads a photo group of nearly two thousand members.
