Daniel Zahno

Daniel Zahno, born in 1963, lives in Basel and New York. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Clemens Brentano Prize, the Tübingen Poetry Prize and the German Business Prize. He was a fellow at Ledig House in New York and writer-in-residence at the Deutsches Haus at New York University. At the Istituto Svizzero in Venice, he wrote his bestseller "Die Geliebte des Gelatiere" - a tremendously sensual, light and airy romance novel about a young Venetian's search for the right life and the right love.
