Timothy Speed

Timothy Speed (born 1973) is a British-Austrian neurodivergent artist (autistic / ADHD / AuDHD), writer, researcher, and human rights activist. In his essays, literary works, and artistic-research interventions in companies, public authorities, and institutions, he examines the future of work, poverty, structural violence, and diversity.

His work combines art, activism, and research in the sense of Artistic Research, understanding knowledge production as an embodied and relational practice beyond purely market-oriented logics of value. Speed’s work represents an independent neurodivergent epistemic position and constitutes a substantial contribution to the critique of prevailing structures of labour, knowledge, and power in complex societies.
