Albrecht Behmel

Albrecht is an award-winning playwright, novelist and painter. He is a graduate of Heidelberg and Berlin Universities.

In 2008 he founded "Berliner Filmforum", a business club for writers, directors and producers in Berlin which he ran for four years partnering with major players in the German capital city’s entertainment industry but he moved to the Black Forest with his wife when their first son was born in 2012. Albrecht has published novels, works of non-fiction, anthologies, games, scripts and short stories. His latest novel is about the Swiss struggle for independence in the Middle Ages. The Stronghold is a powerful story of love, vengeance and war.

Albrecht created The Magic of the Swarms. It is a series of unpredictable unique contemporary art paintings on canvas.
