Mark Henderson

Mark Henderson worked for many years as an art historian at a leading cultural institution in Los Angeles but is now a full-time photographer. Although he continues to work occasionally in California, Henderson shoots primarily in his home state of Texas.

In addition to the coffee table books devoted entirely to his photographs, HOUSEHOLD IDOLS, SUBURBAN PLEASURES, POOLSIDE, LUMINOSITY, and AMERICAN EROS, highlights of his work are included in MEN: TWENTY FIVE YEARS IN PHOTOGRAPHY and various anthology books published by Bruno Gmünder, including BEAUTIFUL VISION, THE MEN OFBEAUTIFULMAG.EU, JEWELS, BRIEF ENCOUNTERS, TURN ON: TATTOOS, NATURAL BEAUTY, TRUNK SHOW, TURN ON: SPORTS, TURN ON: MUSCLES, TURN ON: GEAR, and others.

His work appeared regularly in MEN, FRESHMEN, and UNZIPPED magazines, and his images have been featured in MÄNNER, BEAUTIFULMAG.EU, DNA, THE MALE FORM, DISPLAY, ROMEO and other publications.
