Steven Loots

Rev. S S (Steven) Loots is the founder and President of Harvesters Ministries (HM) (1998); Harvest Aid (HA) (2002); Bibles for Believers (B4B) (2005); The Harvesters Bible School (HBS) (2008).

Steven's first book is titled "Personal Missionary Partnerships”, several books have followed.

Steven developed the "Harvesters Hub Church Planting Model” © that is now widely used for strategic saturation church planting. Harvesters Ministries has planted over 70,000 new churches since 2000.

Steven (Fanie) is married to Hannalie, and they have two grown sons.

Steven completed his schooling at Jeppe High School for Boys where he was Head Student. He then went on to study at the Rand Afrikaans University (Now the University of Johannesburg) where he completed a (BA) and then a BA (Hons) degree. These studies where followed up by his Seminary training. After seven years of study he completed his National Service as a Chaplain in the Infantry. He was called to a local church as the senior pastor and served there for almost nine years.

After several years of church ministry, Steven felt the call to Missions. He worked with several large ministries, including Missions Without Borders, Every Home for Christ and International Campaigns, gaining experience in evangelism and church planting. He saw the need to move quickly into ripe harvest fields as doors open to the Gospel.

HM was founded by Steven in 1998 and is currently represented in the USA, UK and South Africa,with projects globally. see www.harvestersministries.com

Harvesters has developed several highly effective models for church to church evangelism; discipleship; short term outreaches and for church planting - drawing on the experience of others and adapting it to the situation in Africa.

Harvest Aid was established in 2002 in response to the famine in Southern Africa and has several projects which aid Christian leaders and children. Read more on www.harvestaid.org

Bibles for Believers was founded in 2005 to meet the great need for the Word of God among born again believers. More on www.biblesforbelievers.org

The Harvesters Bible School trains pastors for each of the churches planted by HIM within walking distance from their village churches. Currently over 34,000 students are enrolled.

Steven has preached in many countries in Europe, the former East Block, China, Africa the USA and Central America. He has spoken at conferences and is a sought after Missions motivator.
