I was born in Louth, Lincolnshire in 1960. Educated in Grantham, England I joined the Royal Navy in 1979 as a Seaking Observer in the Fleet Air Arm. In 1989 I transferred to the Royal Air Force flying as a Navigator in the Tornado F3. I left the service in 1997 following a flying accident and continued to work for the RAF in a flight simulator. I now reside in Lincoln, England working full time on my writing career.
Time and Again is my first novel and draws on some of my many experiences in the Armed forces. Although a work of fiction and fantasy, much of the book is true to life and factually accurate. Readers may be surprised to learn that the first few chapters were written before my flying accident and yet there are striking similarities between the fictional and actual circumstances, events and injuries. Now working on the sequel, I am far more wary of the way I treat my hero!
I enjoy writing action adventure novels; real 'Boys Own' stuff, though there is a fair bit of romance thrown in so plenty of interest for the girls as well. Time and Again is the first book in a trilogy with the sequel complete and recently published in Kindle format with a paperback version to follow shortly. The third book in the series is now complete and I plan to start working on the story of my flying accident (a short version can be found on my website).
