Chris Docker

Chris Docker is an established author on the law and ethics of medicine, producing key works for the professions, academics and the public on topics such as living wills, death and dying, and human transplantation. For 31 years he has been one of the world's leading researchers into self-deliverance – methods of achieving one's own peaceful and dignified death when all else has failed. As director of Exit (The Voluntary Euthanasia Society of Scotland), he has been leading interactive workshops throughout the UK for many years. He is committed to placing this knowledge on a scientific footing by producing critical editions supported by evidence from peer-reviewed literature.
