William Cava

Bill Cava is a veteran technologist who has spent most of his 15 year career in the digital marketing and web content management space. He is the Founder of Wisemine, a marketing software company devoted to helping marketers increase content engagement, relevancy and discovery through real-time analytics.

Bill most recently held executive-level technology positions (CTO & Chief Evangelist) at Ektron. Prior, he was a principal engineer at Lycos, one of the Internet's first search engines, and earlier as a research engineer at the Center for Intelligent Information Retrieval.

Bill is the founder and organizer of the NH Data Science Group, holds multiple patents in information retrieval, is a published author, and is a technology adviser to a number of internet companies.

Bill enjoys public speaking and has presented at many conferences in North America, Europe, and Australia throughout his career, on topics of interest to both technologist and marketers, and has spoken at venues such as SXSW, Inbound Marketing Summit, and the Microsoft Professional Developer Conference.

As an undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Bill studied Computer Science, Fine Art and Italian, and continued his Computer Science studies as a graduate student at WPI, where he focused his research on Real-Time Stream Processing at Web Scale.
