John Quackenbush

John Quackenbush got a PhD in theoretical physics before getting a five year fellowship to work on the Human Genome Project. After working at the Salk Institute, Stanford University, and The Institute for Genomic Research, he assumed his current position at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard University. He is an internationally recognized expert in computational and systems biology, has published more than 250 scientific papers, and presents lectures around the world on his research. "Curiosity Guide: The Human Genome" is his first mass market book.
