Kennan J. Pomeroy

Kennan J. Pomeroy graduated from Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago, Illinois with a Master of Arts (Religion). Currently, he is working on several projects, which will cover a wide variety of subjects, viewed through the religio-philosophical lens of post-theism.

Of course, as can be seen by his current title(s), he has taken what he sees as the next step along his spiritual path, and has left atheism behind. Even as the author found it necessary to move "beyond theism," he also maintains that it is just as important to move "beyond atheism." In light of his current approach, he most readily himself as a post-theist, wherein the issues and concerns in regard to either the existence or non-existence of "God(s)" is/are no longer seen as relevant.

Even more, he finds that this enigma has only served to distract us away from engaging in, and resolving (even if such resolutions are only temporary) what the real existential-ontological issues and concerns of our lives.

Currently the author is working on several titles covering a variety of religio-philosophical subjects, which will eventually become available for purchase through Amazon.com.

As for the projects the author is currently developing for publication, there are essays, which concern: Hinduism, Buddhism, Religious Humanism, Religious Naturalism, all of which undergo an assessment from what he has identified as a "post-theistic" perspective. In addition to these, he is developing an essay concerning the relationship between economics and religio-philosophical reflection and discourse.
