Robert L. Sunheimer

I have been working and teaching in the field of (Medical Technology) Clinical Laboratory Science specializing in clinical chemistry for over 35 years. It is safe to say that it has been my life’s work. I have been very fortunate during my career to have been given the opportunity to devote time to all aspects of clinical laboratory science. This includes, 1) working at the clinical bench in a variety of different settings, 2) designing, completing and publishing research projects, 3) teaching topics in clinical chemistry, and 4) ultimately writing a textbook. I believe that the technical information presented in this textbook reflects the knowledge that is required to function in a clinical chemistry laboratory.
