Adam Perry

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, I studied poetry at the University of Pittsburgh with Toi Derricote, Barbara Edelman and Lynn Emanuel before moving to San Francisco for several years to work as a touring rock drummer. From 2008-2009 I studied writing and literature at Naropa University in Boulder, Colo., with Maureen Owen, Junior Burke, Jack Collom, Bhanu Kapil and others. Currently I live in Portland, Maine, where I work as a freelance writer for several publications around the U.S.
