Donna M. Kshir

Donna M. Kshir is a dedicated child rights activist whose mission is simple: protect children, expose injustice, demand accountability, and give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.

With more than 30 years in child advocacy, Donna has been instrumental in efforts surrounding Conner’s Law in Kentucky, the creation of a Public Child Abuse Registry in Pennsylvania with State Representative Aaron Bernstine, and the Zero Tolerance Law Initiative, which seeks stronger accountability for child abusers.

On February 24, 2026, Donna submitted a proposal to Pennsylvania State Representative Stephanie Borowicz seeking legislative support for a Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, continuing her efforts to strengthen protections for children.

On April 8, 2025, Advocates United for Humanity (AU4H) honored Donna's 30th year in child advocacy. To celebrate the milestone, Donna joined Laurie Ann Smith as a special guest on the Women Like Me podcast, reflecting on three decades of advocacy, perseverance, and the fight to protect children.

Donna is also the author of Fallen Star: Author, Activist, Murderer, For 30 Minutes, and A Story of Survival. She is a publisher, podcaster, public speaker, educator, and columnist whose work has been featured in more than 50 publications. Her books have reached Amazon bestseller status 26 times across multiple categories.

Donna co-founded Advocates United for Humanity with Lee Cougardawn Roberts and Laurie Ann Smith. They use AU4H platform and host educational podcasts to address difficult issues and amplify voices that deserve to be heard.

She also honors the memory of her late maternal grandmother through her art and photography under the pen name Gladys Caroline. For the children in her faith-based classroom, she becomes Miss Donna, creating children's stories and hosting The After-School Kids Podcast to educate, encourage, and inspire young minds.

For Donna, advocacy is more than a career—it is a calling.

Thirty years later, she is still standing, still speaking, and still fighting for children.
