Mitchell Kaneff has worked in the family business, Arkay - now in its 102nd year - for over thirty years. Founded by his grandfather, Max Kaneff, in 1922, Arkay dominates today's value-added folding-carton industry.
In 1997 Kaneff became Arkay's third-generation leader, carrying on the family legacy with his signature passion and consistently redefining his company's goals to maintain its competitive edge.
Kaneff lives in Southampton and is pleased to welcome his twin sons into the business as fourth-generation leaders-in-training. "Taking Over" is his first book and plans are in the works for an updated version. Kaneff also has a rock band, The Young Presidents, and has released over five albums and EP's over the years. In addition Kaneff formed a duo, Mitch & Millie, with his wife, Amelia Leigh, and has been releasing their music on Spotify, Apple Music, and various other streaming services.
