Cody Harris

Cody Harris was born in Durango, Colorado. He began kayaking in 1990 and is a past member of the U.S. Olympic Development Team in whitewater slalom. He has worked as a kayak coach, kayak instructor, river safety consultant, raft guide, and swift water rescue instructor. He is currently the Director of the Whitewater Rescue Institute in Missoula, Montana. While his responsibilities include curriculum development and administration, his favorite part of the job is helping others learn about river safety through the many courses taught throughout North America.
