Karin Kasdin

Karin Kasdin is an author, playwright, and essayist. Life, Death, and Doughnuts is her first novel. Previous books include Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy: Confronting Motherhood, Womanhood and Selfhood in a Household of Boys (named the best parenting book of 1998 by the Parent Council Ltd.) and Watsamatta U: A Get-A -Grip Guide to Staying Sane Through Your Child's College Application Process. Ms. Kasdin grew up in Rochester, NY, and attained a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and a master's from Harvard. She currently writes a blog on parenting grownup children for The Faster Times.
