Travis D. Stimeling

Travis D. Stimeling is Professor of Musicology and Director of Bluegrass and Old-Time Bands at West Virginia University. He has published widely on country music, music in Appalachia, and music history pedagogy. He also served as a Senior Editor for The Grove Dictionary of American Music, 2nd ed. and currently serves as the series editor of West Virginia University Press's "Sounding Appalachia" series.
