Douglas Houck

Dr. Douglas Houck teaches English and Writing Courses at Edison State College in Punta Gorda, Florida. He is a member of the Peace River Center for Writers, the Florida Writer's Association,the Chautauqua County Historical Society, and the Charlote County Historical Center Society. My interest in local history and literature provides the focus for my work. I grew up in Chautauqua County, New York and moved to Charlotte County, Florida after living and working in Maine and Hawaii.
