Jewly Hight

Jewly Hight is a music journalist and critic based in Nashville. She's contributed to NPR/NPR Music, Billboard, New York Magazine/Vulture, Slate, VICE, The Oxford American, Rolling Stone Country, The Bluegrass Situation and numerous other outlets, and won the inaugural Chet Flippo Award for Excellence in Country Music Journalism in 2015. Right By Her Roots is her first book.
