Carole Lieberman, M.D., M.P.H., ‘America’s Psychiatrist’, devotes her life to helping people understand the world around them by providing insights into personal and societal issues, so we can overcome obstacles and live happier, more fulfilling lives. She does this through books, TV, radio/podcasts and speaking engagements, as well as through psychotherapy.

Dr. Carole, a Board Certified Beverly Hills psychiatrist, is a bestselling/award-winning author of four books. Another book, Coping with Terrorism: Dreams Interrupted, was published in London as the anniversary edition of 7/7, their most notable attack. Her latest book, Lions and Tigers and Terrorists, Oh My! How to Protect Your Child in a Time of Terror, is the first and only book about terrorism for kids (and their parents and teachers). It won awards at the New York, London, Paris and Hollywood Book Festivals, and a Mom’s Choice Gold Award.

Dr. Carole is a three-time Emmy-honored media personality on top TV and radio shows (including: Oprah, Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN, FOX News, ET, Access Hollywood, BBC, Sky News, and countless others). She hosts "Dr. Carole’s Couch" on Voice America, and “The Terrorist Therapist” podcast.

Dr. Carole was Chief Resident in Psychiatry at NYU-Bellevue and served for years on the Clinical Faculty of UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute. She also studied under Anna Freud at her Hampstead Clinic in London.
